The iron naturally irradiated by the rock gives quartz its unique purple hue in the world. At Essences Agape, we select pieces that have not been "heated" to become fake citrine nor stabilized with resin. This is living amethyst. After manual extraction with hammer and chisel, the druses are washed with clear water to remove clay but left intact.
